KRINGLE CANDLE CELEBRATES 5 YEARS IN BUSINESS WITH SPECIAL EVENTS

BERNARDSTON – AUTUMN 2015 is a special season for the Kringle Candle Company. It marks their 5th year anniversary in business as a candle manufacturer and retailer. The company opened its operation and retail campus in October 2010 in Bernardston, MA and in honor of their 5 years, a 10-day celebration will begin this Saturday, October 10 with special events and in-store deals.

“The campus will be bustling with all kinds of activity,” says President and founder Michael (Mick) Kittredge III. There will be two weekends starting Columbus Day weekend and continuing the following Saturday & Sunday, October 17 & 18. In-store specials will be held for the entire ten days, October 10 – 18. Weekend events include an outdoor mulled cider, wine & beer bar, food and grilling demos, pumpkin crafts, sweet & savory treats from The Farm Table Restaurant, carmel apples & Rice Crispy treats & topping bar, birthday cake, in-store deals, such as buy 2 get 1 free, and much more.

Since opening in October 2010, Kringle’s cozy country campus has undergone several additions and now spans both sides of South Street in Bernardston with a retail store on one side showcasing its handcrafted candle products and accessories, and featuring a large gentlemen’s gift section; across the street a 3-floor post and beam Country Barn with an entire level devoted to holiday décor, a toy store on the upper floor (where Santa will be arriving on Black Friday), and the street level with such items as gourmet foods, olive oils, vinegars & teas, specialty gifts, home décor, clothing and jewelry and personal care products. The Farm Table Restaurant at Kringle is full-service and provides patrons with a high-quality dining experience that features locally-sourced foods. Sampling of food products will be held during both weekends.

Asked whether there was any expansion in the works, Mick Kittredge said there are a few that include utilizing additional retail space to enlarge the store as well as expanding specialty food items that offers customers a sensory experience. “It has been a very successful five years, and we are excited and looking forward to 2016 and beyond.”
